One of Konami's big horror game announcements from the Silent Hill Transmission event is the mysterious Silent Hill: Townfall.
Konami has confirmed that Silent Hill: Townfall is currently in development. The announcement came as part of the Silent Hill Transmission presentation.
The presentation focused on five different projects, including a Silent Hill 2 remake, the Return to Silent Hill film, the interactive media project Silent Hill: Ascension, and the mysterious Silent Hill F.
While only a teaser trailer was shared for Silent Hill: Townfall, the game's developer and prior leaks provide an exciting glimpse of why the project is exciting.
According to information about Silent Hill: Townfall, No Code is making a good follow-up to its prior endeavours. According to reports, the new game highlights short-form horror tales like Stories Untold.
It's impossible to assess how faithfully Silent Hill: Townfall is a continuation of the Silent Hill series without knowing more about the gameplay. What's exciting, though, is that No Code has proven to be a skilled creator of horror video games.
It now has the chance to demonstrate that with a sizable franchise. It is just one of many exciting chances for the Silent Hill series to experience a comeback in the upcoming years.
