Dataminers have uncovered and confirmed that 16 multiplayer maps are coming to Modern Warfare 2.

Compared to Call of Duty Vanguard, Modern Warfare 2 will have four fewer maps (Vanguard launched with 20). But 16 multiplayer maps for a Call of Duty game are average in the grand scheme.
