Edia has announced Psikyo Memories, a comprehensive collection of classic arcade titles scheduled to launch on the PlayStation 5 and the successor to the Nintendo Switch. The announcement was made during Tokyo Game Show 2026, with the release currently slated for a 2027 window.

The collection was revealed through a physical “Edia Game Catalog” distributed at the event, which began on September 17. Psikyo Memories is reported to focus on arcade preservation, with the stated goal of including all of the developer’s arcade games released during the 1990s. This era is widely considered the peak of the studio’s output, known primarily for its high-speed shoot ’em up titles.

Edia’s control over the Psikyo library stems from a February 2025 acquisition, in which the company purchased the developer Zerodiv from City Connection. This acquisition, completed for approximately one million yen, provided Edia with the property rights to manage and publish the Psikyo catalog. The announcement of Psikyo Memories appears to be a cornerstone of a larger revival strategy presented by the company, which also includes upcoming projects for the Toshinden and Dragon Slayer franchises.

The move to target the “Nintendo Switch 2” alongside the PlayStation 5 indicates a focus on ensuring the legacy catalog remains available as the industry transitions to next-generation hardware. While previous Psikyo titles have seen various individual and bundled releases on the original Switch and other platforms, Psikyo Memories is being positioned as a more complete archival effort under Edia’s direct management.
