Apple had Planned to Release a Classical Music App in 2022, But There is Not Much Time Left

Apple announced that it had purchased the classical music streaming service Primephonic in August 2021.

Apple announced that it would release a specific classical music app this year. Even so, if the business is to carry out the plans on schedule, time is beginning to run out.

According to a press release by Apple Newsroom last year, "Apple Music plans to launch a dedicated classical music app next year combining Primephonic's classical user interface that fans have grown to love with more added features.

Since then, Apple has not discussed the plans in the public sphere and has not responded to any of our requests for comment from earlier this month.

The app would take the place of Primephonic and offer users a place to stream classical music by composers like Beethoven and Mozart.

In September 2021, Primephonic's service would end. However, customers would still have free access to Apple Music for six months. As a result, Primephonic subscribers have had access to Apple Music through February.
