A new partnership between Apple's Beats brand and the Japanese designers Wacko Maria will result in a limited-edition pair of Beats Flex earphones with a leopard-print pattern and a two-tone cable.

As an improvement over the earlier BeatsX models, Beats Flex is the company's entry-level in-ear earphone.

The individual earbuds are connected by a Flex-Form cable with inline modules for housing the battery and control hardware. In contrast, the Beats Flex connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to your devices.

The headphones feature Apple's W1 chip for simple setup and switching between Apple devices, a variety of ear tip sizes, magnetic earbuds that keep the headphones on your neck when not in use, support Auto-Play/Pause, Find Me, and have a battery life of up to 12 hours.

They also feature Fast Fuel charging via USB-C, providing up to 90 minutes of listening in just 10 minutes.

The Wacko Maria Leopard Beats Flex will cost $70 in the United States and be made available beginning December 2 at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
