Killers of the Flower Moon, the new film directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is scheduled to be released in theaters later this year before it is made available on Apple TV+, and a new trailer has been published to prove it.

The Western epic will depict the murders of a Midwestern Native American tribe known as the Osage Nation in the 1920s in Oklahoma, where oil deposits were discovered. This will be Scorsese's first film in the Western genre.

Killers of the Flower Moon was shown for the first time in front of an audience at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on May 20, 2023. After the film's showing, the audience stood and applauded for nine minutes straight.
