Samsung has released the Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition after teasing its partnership with the fashion house a few weeks ago. The smartphone is available in a limited edition with a distinctive design and complementary accessories.
Every aspect of the new limited-edition Galaxy Z Flip 4 has been created to match Maison Margiela's originality and principles, according to Samsung, and "marries perfectly with Maison Margiela's design philosophy, rooted in defiance, subversion, and rejection of convention."
The phone has a silver-white metal frame and is matte white. The phone's internal circuits are represented by a few objects in grey and fine lines.
The phone includes two specific cases: a leather case and a ring case. The Leather Case embodies the fashion house's signature bianchetto technique, highlighting the elegance of a white canvas and the "four stitches" symbol, which stands for anonymity.
The case's texture is distinctive and painted; it can change over time. The iconic numerical coding of Maison Margiela is used as a ring in The Ring Case.
Additionally, Samsung designed a unique UI theme for the phone that includes new icons and a wallpaper that gives the appearance of being see-through. Even the phone's box packaging, which reveals the phone's shape, is very different.
