Someone has launched and run Grand Theft Auto 5 on the Nintendo Switch, although it is impossible to play the game now.

This achievement has finally been documented. A tech YouTuber named Geekerwan recently published a video demonstrating a Nintendo Switch that had been hacked and was running Android and a Linux operating system. The results were astounding.

It had the appearance of a Nintendo Switch, which was accurate, but it did not function similarly. After installing the Android operating system, it transformed into a standard tablet.

However, when Linux was installed on it, it transformed into a miniature game computer, transforming the Switch into a Steam Deck.

Afterward, Geekerwan showed his imaginative side by playing games such as Titanfall 2, and Devil May Cry 5, God of War, and Grand Theft Auto 5.

On the hardware of the Nintendo Switch, it was an uphill battle all the time. Geekerwan produced excellent images for God of War; nevertheless, there were issues with the music, and the game played at roughly 12 frames per second (FPS).
