Atlus is developing Persona 4 Revival, which includes the energetic mascot and party member Teddie.

Technical Overhaul and Combat Mechanics
Built using Unreal Engine 5, Persona 4 Revival aims to bring the visual fidelity of the 2008 original and its 2012 “Golden” expansion in line with modern titles like Persona 3 Reload. This technical shift includes completely redesigned user interfaces and environments within the rural town of Inaba and the supernatural Midnight Channel.
Recent gameplay demonstrations have introduced “Prime Time,” a new mechanic added to the turn-based combat system. While specific details on the “Prime Time” resource management are being revealed through these character-specific trailers, it appears to complement the series’ traditional “One More” and All-Out Attack systems. According to official project details from SEGA, the remake is a comprehensive reconstruction of Persona 4 Golden, ensuring that content involving the character Marie and other Golden-exclusive story beats are integrated into the new framework.
Expanded Content and Release Schedule
One of the most significant upgrades in the remake is the inclusion of fully voiced Social Links. In the original and Golden versions of the game, only the primary story beats were fully voiced, while individual character bonds relied heavily on text. This change brings the game’s narrative depth closer to the standard set by Persona 5 Royal.
Atlus has finalized the launch schedule across all modern platforms, clarifying earlier rumors regarding the timing of the release. The game is slated to arrive on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass will also have access to the title on its launch day.
Following the initial launch, a version for Nintendo’s next-generation console, currently referred to as the Nintendo Switch 2, is scheduled for release on May 20, 2027. This staggered release ensures that the title will be available across the full spectrum of modern gaming hardware within the first half of 2027.
