- Performance Boosts: Update 1.007 adds DLSS and FSR 3.0 frame generation along with native support for Ultrawide and Super Ultrawide monitors.
- Combat and Logic Adjustments: Emma now receives faster healing while the Great Wall Terraces boss fight has been changed to an event battle for a smoother story experience.
The latest Beast of Reincarnation Update 1.007, internally identified as Version 1.0.9, is now live on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This patch brings several technical upgrades and quality-of-life tweaks to help the combat feel more fluid. Before jumping into the action, players should check the Beast of Reincarnation Release Time Zone & Global Schedule to make sure their region is ready for the new version.
Performance Upgrades and Ultrawide Support
One of the biggest additions in this patch is the inclusion of modern performance scaling. The update adds native support for both the NVIDIA DLSS Official Technology Overview and AMD FSR 3 Technology Documentation right in the settings menu. PC players should keep in mind that DLSS Frame Generation specifically requires NVIDIA 40-series cards. In contrast, the FSR 3.0 implementation offers broader compatibility for those using older or non-NVIDIA GPUs to get better frame rates. The game also now supports Ultrawide and Super Ultrawide monitor aspect ratios for a better field of view.
Stability is a major focus for developers lately, as seen with the recent Multiversus Update 1.34: Bug Fixes and Game Enhancements that fixed competitive issues. Similarly, Beast of Reincarnation has fixed a spawning bug in the Fuji Frontier Zone that stopped elite enemies from appearing, so you can finally hunt down those rare loot drops.
Download Sizes by Platform
Update 1.007 has different download sizes depending on your system. On PlayStation 5, the patch is roughly 4.2GB. This is mostly due to high-resolution textures and new haptic feedback for Execution Kills and Assassinations. The PC and Xbox versions are a bit smaller, sitting between 2.5GB and 2.8GB. Other games are seeing similar polish, such as the Deep Rock Galactic Survivor Update 0.2.280 Details and Fixes which recently fixed class balance issues.
Emma and Koo: Combat Changes
If you are new to the game, the bond between Emma and her companion Koo is how you survive the toughest encounters. Emma handles the direct fighting while Koo provides support using FP (Flow Points). This update fixes a bug with Koo’s Emergency Medicine skill. Previously, specific inputs could cause the item count to glitch, allowing for extra heals. The patch fixes this logic so healing stays balanced. Emma also got a boost; she can now heal faster after taking a hit, and the movement penalty during the healing animation has been cut down.
The Helm Splitter skill is now unlocked by default for everyone, though you can still upgrade it through the skill tree. To help with the game’s flow, the Great Wall Terraces boss encounter is now an event-based fight, keeping the story front and center. Finally, the economy has been tweaked so you can now sell Charms to merchants for extra currency instead of just discarding them.
