Ark Survival Ascended (ASA) Update 1.093.023 Patch Notes (v93.23)

Studio Wildcard has released Ark: Survival Ascended update 1.093.023 (v93.23) on September 10, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This update prioritizes the resolution of a progression exploit involving the Alpha Medusa and addresses several physics issues affecting naval combat and the Astraeos map.

Alpha Medusa Exploit and Tame Fixes

The primary fix in this version targets an exploit where the Alpha Medusa incorrectly granted players additional levels. This patch removes that progression loop to maintain the integrity of player leveling.

For survivors focusing on aquatic breeding, the update addresses a bug that previously prevented egg incubation within aquatic compartments. Players can now successfully hatch eggs inside these environments.

Naval Stability and Vehicle Adjustments

A significant portion of the v93.23 update focuses on ship physics and combat balance. Ships have received the following technical adjustments:

  • Collision and Boundaries: Ships no longer phase through other vessels or the world’s boundary barriers.
  • Melee Damage: A bug that caused ship decks to take increased damage from melee attacks has been corrected.
  • Hover Skiff: The update resolves an issue where the Hover Skiff was displaced by the Heavy Footed skill.

Astraeos and UI Updates

Following the integration of Astraeos, this update fixes ghost harvestable foliage that would respawn incorrectly during environment re-rendering on the map.

Console players will also see a visual fix for the Mod UI. A bug that caused the interface to display a white background has been resolved.
