Diablo 4’s Season 15, titled “Season of Hell’s Legacy,” launched on September 15, 2026, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the franchise.

The reintroduction of legacy features leans heavily on the Horadric Cube, a permanent feature added to the game during the earlier Lord of Hatred expansion. Located in the city of Temis and unlocked through that expansion’s campaign, the Cube has transitioned into a permanent crafting station.
Beyond the crafting features, Season 15 introduces a mechanic known as “Waking Nightmares.” This system allows players to encounter updated recreations of the Prime Evils—Diablo, Baal, and Mephisto—utilizing modern models and expanded attack patterns. These encounters serve as the primary source for “Soul Splinters,” a seasonal currency used to interact with the anniversary content.
The launch of “Season of Hell’s Legacy” coincides with the broader 30th-anniversary celebration across Blizzard’s catalog, which includes cross-title events in Diablo 2: Resurrected and Diablo Immortal.
