Roguelite Beat ‘Em Up Absolum Brings PC Cross-Progression to Mobile This November

Published on:

The acclaimed roguelite beat ’em up Absolum is expanding its reach to mobile platforms. Playdigious, in partnership with Dotemu, confirmed that the title will officially launch on iOS and Android on November 5, 2026. The move follows a successful run on PC and consoles, where the game has already sold more than 500,000 units.

Developed by Guard Crush Games alongside animation studio Supamonks, Absolum is being published on mobile by Playdigious in cooperation with Dotemu. This mobile transition is being managed by Playdigious, a publisher specializing in high-quality ports for titles like Dead Cells, ensuring the game’s signature hand-drawn art style and fluid combat are preserved for mobile hardware.

Technical Optimizations and Mobile Features

The mobile version of Absolum includes several platform-specific enhancements designed to translate the arcade-style experience to handheld devices. Developers have implemented a completely redesigned user interface and native touch controls. For those who prefer a traditional setup, the game will also launch with full physical controller support.

Regarding platform interoperability, a specific cross-progression feature has been established for the Android ecosystem. Players using Android devices can sync their progress with the PC version of the game, provided they use the same Google Play Games account. This functionality is currently limited to the Google Play Games PC client and does not support shared progress between iOS and other platforms.

Gameplay and Artistic Collaboration

Absolum blends classic side-scrolling action with roguelite progression, featuring four playable heroes: Galandra, Karl, Cider, and Brome.

The game features an original score with contributions from several veteran industry composers.

The experience is supported by a high-profile musical score. While Gareth Coker, known for his work on the Ori series, led the soundtrack, the game also features guest contributions from veteran composers Mick Gordon (Doom Eternal) and Yuka Kitamura (Elden Ring).

Pre-registration is currently live on both the App Store and Google Play Store. As an incentive for early adopters, those who pre-register or pre-order the game before its November 5 release will receive a 30% discount on the launch price.
