The Finals Update 1.000.155 (v11.9.0) Buffs Ziplines and Evasive Dash

Published on:

Embark Studios has released Update 1.000.155 (v11.9.0) for The Finals on September 10, 2026. This patch introduces a shift in movement utility alongside the return of a limited-time event to the World Tour rotation.

The update is now live for players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The primary focus of the patch includes adjustments to Ziplines and the Evasive Dash specialization.

Mobility and Combat Balance Changes

The v11.9.0 update implements several adjustments to movement gadgets and specializations. Ziplines have received improvements to both uptime and reach:

  • Zipline Cooldown: Reduced from 37 seconds to 30 seconds.
  • Zipline Range: Maximum placement range increased from 40 meters to 50 meters.

Individual mobility for Light builds sees a change with the Evasive Dash cooldown per charge reduced from 6 seconds to 5 seconds. This fact-based adjustment allows for more frequent repositioning during gameplay.

Conversely, the Cloaking Device has received a visibility change. Stationary cloaked players are now easier to detect due to reduced environment blending. This adjustment makes immobile players more visible when using the specialization.

The Dragon Event Returns

The Dragon Game Show Event officially returns to the World Tour. Players will encounter event-specific mechanics across several maps in the current rotation, including Kyoto, Las Vegas, Bernal, and Monaco.

For players interested in cosmetic rewards, the “Red Broadcast Blaze” Twitch Drops are now active. These rewards can be earned by watching eligible streamers and will remain available until September 24, 2026.

Esports Context: The Grand Major 2026
