FuturLab and Mattel have announced a new expansion for PowerWash Simulator 2, bringing the bright pink world of Barbie to the cleaning simulation sequel. Revealed on September 15, 2026, the Barbie Pack is scheduled for release in late 2026 and will be priced at $7.99 / £6.50 / €7.99.

The upcoming DLC includes five new levels inspired by iconic Barbie playsets. Players will be tasked with restoring the shine to several recognizable locations, including the Barbie DreamHouse and the Barbie Dream Camper. This expansion serves as the third and final installment of the game’s 2026 roadmap for paid intellectual property crossovers, following the release of the Adventure Time pack in January and the Star Wars pack in July.

Specialized Equipment and Gameplay

To match the aesthetic of the new environments, the Barbie Pack introduces a suite of customized gear. Players will have access to a Barbie-themed power washer and a unique character skin. The expansion also features specialized tools designed to handle the scale of the new levels, including a pink abseiling kit and a dedicated scissor lift to reach high-altitude grime on the DreamHouse.

The DLC maintains the series’ emphasis on cooperative play. The Barbie-themed jobs can be tackled solo or through several multiplayer configurations. The expansion supports two-player split-screen and up to four-player online co-op in the Free Play mode, allowing groups of players to work together on the oversized playsets.

Since its original launch on October 23, 2025, FuturLab has focused on a mix of free updates and high-profile licensed expansions. The Barbie Pack represents a continuation of this strategy, following the established pattern of merging the game’s meticulous cleaning mechanics with popular culture brands. The content will be available across all supported platforms, including the recently launched Nintendo Switch 2.
