Phasmophobia Update 1.000.047 / 0.19.0.1 Patch Notes & VR Fixes

Published on:

Kinetic Games has released Phasmophobia update 1.000.047 (0.19.0.1 on PC) on September 10, 2026. This update focuses on resolving several interaction bugs on consoles and introducing quality-of-life improvements for VR players, including a new belt adjustment setting and hand positioning fixes for starting equipment.

VR Quality-of-Life and PSVR2 Fixes

The primary addition for virtual reality players is a new VR Belt Offset setting. This allows investigators to manually adjust the height of their equipment belt. Additionally, hand positioning has been refined for Tier 1 equipment, specifically for Flashlights, Photo Cameras, Video Cameras, and D.O.T.S. Projectors.

For those playing on PSVR2, the update addresses a specific UI pointer tilt issue. Previously, players were forced to tilt their hands upward to navigate menus; the pointer now aligns correctly with the controller’s orientation. According to the official Kinetic Games patch notes, these changes aim to reduce physical fatigue during investigations.

Console Voice Recognition and Gameplay Fixes

A bug affecting PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players has been resolved. Previously, toggling between voice and text input modes could cause the voice recognition system to stop functioning, preventing players from using the Spirit Box or summoning the ghost via voice commands. This functionality is now restored regardless of how many times a player switches their input preferences.

The update also targets specific map and interaction issues:

  • Monkey Paw: Fixed a logic error where using the “I Wish For Knowledge” wish would cross out correct evidence in the Journal.
  • Prison Entrance: The developers have added more props and fingerprint interaction points to the entrance area.
  • Nell’s Diner: The safe now correctly opens when the player inputs the accurate code, resolving an interaction failure.
  • Performance: Optimizations have been applied to Brownstone High School Restricted to address reported performance issues.

While the update addresses several platform-specific issues, Kinetic Games has not yet provided specific file download sizes for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the patch. Players on all platforms can now access these changes as the update is live across PC and console storefronts.
